In mid-September, we began working on animation sets for village residents. This iteration focuses on settlement characters: the people who help a location feel like a place inhabited by others, rather than only a space for the protagonist to cross.

Homefall's world is not limited to danger and encounters. Village settlements are part of its character, and the everyday presence of people matters to the atmosphere. We want their movements, as well as their words, to support that sense of a lived-in world.

The work involves creating and adding animation sets. We are not calling this stage finished or listing new actions that we cannot yet show. This update describes an ongoing direction in animation development, not the completion of every resident and settlement in the game.

We are continuing to build Homefall through these details. The protagonists, the people around them, and their surroundings should feel like parts of the same world, carrying traces of the past and life that continues after the catastrophe.
