August's animation iteration focused on character movement. It covered adjustments to the animation graph in Unity, sliding during locomotion, and the position of weapons in characters' hands.

Movement communicates a great deal about a character, even in a turn-based game. Feet sliding across a surface or a weapon sitting unnaturally in a hand can be noticeable regardless of the tactical situation. These details affect how coherent a scene feels.

The work focused on characters intended for the planned demo. It is about more than getting one frame to look right: the animations need to feel consistent as characters move and change position.

This round of adjustments is complete. It marks progress in character preparation, not an announcement of the demo's date or availability. We are continuing to develop movement alongside the other parts of the game.
