Several iterations in June focused on Homefall's inventory. The work covered the interface itself, access to detailed item information, and the experience of interacting with items in quick-access slots.

In a tactical RPG, equipment is part of preparation rather than just a list of collected objects. Before an encounter, players need to understand what they have and what they can rely on. Our aim is to make that information understandable without turning every item into a search across multiple screens.

Item details and quick access serve different purposes. One gives players room to examine an item; the other helps them reach something they need with fewer interruptions. We worked on these elements separately while keeping the overall inventory consistent.

This June round of improvements is complete. It is not the final word on the interface: as the game's systems develop, we will continue considering how equipment fits into the experience of the wider adventure.
